I really loved Anna Griffin’s On-line Create 6 and I so hope she does it again next year!

Everyone at Create loved making these Rocker cards. I so hope Anna makes this die available to everyone. In the meantime, you can Google rocker cards and see how people made these without a die. 

For this card, I used Anna Griffin’s Rocker Die, paper and stickers. I love how this card rocks. This class was a hit at Create 6! Have a safe and wonderful holiday season.   

Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards and projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them. This project took a little more time, but was so worth it. We had two Thanksgiving weekends with family, so I am really behind on my blog.

I needed a quick and easy card and I was so excited to find the perfect one.

For this elegant card, I used the Cricut Fancy Christmas Tree Card… Make it Now project. Instead of using adhesive foil, I used gold glitter paper from my stash. Super simple! Since I was in a hurry I only cut the tree once and it worked perfectly.

Santa Pocket Gift Card Holder

I thought it would be fun to make a quick and easy gift card holder for my niece.

For this project, I used the Santa Pocket Gift Card Holder (#71479) that I purchased from the Silhouette on-line store. I used glitter paper for his hat and mustache.

All I need to do is attach a gift card to the white layer and I am done! So charming and stress-free!

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards or projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.

Now that fall is almost here, I am starting to think about Christmas. I am making Christmas cards and Halloween cards at the same time! I might even get my shopping done early this year.

I love how this card turned out! I used glitter paper for the beard and hat and the remaining paper is from my stash. The Cricut Explore machine cuts glitter paper like butter!

I used the Santa Claus Card (# MB3771) image from Anna’s Christmas Kitsch cartridge. The card measures 9.24 wide x 5.99 inches tall.

This card took a little longer because of all the layers, but it was so worth it. This is one of my favorite Anna Griffin cartridges.

Jewelry Box and Card

If you are looking for a last minute jewelry box, here it is. I made this quick and easy box using the Wrap It Up Cartridge and my Imagine. The snowflake box is on page 68 of the Wrap It Up manual and I used the fit-to-page option. It is flood filled with digital paper from the Imagine More cartridge. I added glitter and a ribbon and was done. I just had to make a quick gift card to go with the mini jewelry box.

Quick and Easy Envelopes and Liners

I know everyone is busy finishing their holiday cards, so I thought it would be a good time to talk about envelopes. I love using the Cricut to make envelopes and thought I would share a couple of my favorites. I used double sided paper to add a special touch, and to avoid cutting out liners.





The envelope on the left is perfect for square cards and can be found on the Walk in My Garden cartridge. The scalloped square is on page 78 of the Accent Essentials manual. Of course, I had to add faux stitching using my Signo pen.

The envelope on the right is my go to envelope for A2 cards and is on page 79 of the Plantin manual. I love the rounded corners. Super quick and easy! I used two punches to create the closure.

I also like to make envelopes and liners using the Martha Stewart Score Board and the Score Pal. I made this video several months ago, but thought it might be useful to post it again.

Jolly Holidays Christmas Card

I love the new Jolly Holidays Cart and could not wait to use it. I saw a similar card in the November/December issue of PaperCrafts magazine and had to make it using this cartridge. Super cute and so easy!



The base card measures 3 ¾ x 5 ½ inches. The inside liner was cut at 3 ½ x 5 ¼ inches. The girl is cut at 4 ¼ inches. For the top of the card, I cut the marquee # 1 from the Storybook cartridge at 4 ½ inches. I then trimmed the marquee and used a stamp for the sentiment. Lastly, I add glitter and attached a Wobble. You can never have too much bling or movement!

Snowman Card and Gypsy Video Using Hide Contour Feature

I am so loving my new Gypsy! Below is my first Gypsy video and I am so excited. In this video, I will show you how to use the hide contour feature and also make the cute snowman card. Lately, I have been making a lot of shaped cards, but this one is my favorite.

Gingerbread Man Card

To make this cute card, I purchased a file from SVG cuts and used my Sure Cuts A Lots program. I used glitter for added bling and cuttlebugged the hat band and tops of the boots using the swiss dots folder. For the inside of the card, I used my Signo uni-ball white pen to add the stitches This card and envelope were so quick and easy to make.

Gingerbread House Christmas Card

To make this cute card, I purchased a file from SVG Cuts and used my Sure Cuts A Lots program. I added glitter to the gum drops for added bling. For the inside of the card, I cut the candy from the same paper I used for the envelope. This card was so quick and easy and makes a great Christmas card.

Christmas in April

I am making cards for a silent auction and thought I would share. My goal is to make cards for every season and I am almost done. Whew! This card is done in the Iris Folding style, except that I used ribbons instead of paper.

Christmas with the Cricut

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time in Missoula with family and friends.
Below is a quick card I made using the Cricut Cheer cartridge. Hope you all survived Black Friday and that you are the proud owners of new Cricut cartridges.

Another Five Minute Christmas Card

This card actually took four minutes. I used a piece of decorative paper, added a few rain dots and a rub-on. Super easy!

5 Minute Christmas Cards

I so love to make quick cards and thought over the next few days, I would share a few of my five minute cards. They are quick and so easy to make. This card is just your basic card with a one inch inked strip and a purchased embellishment and rub-on. Actually this took less than 5 minutes.

Christmas Photo Card

I just could not resist making a Christmas card using my new great nephew's photo. Landon is so adorable as is his Dad and Mom!

Today I am reviewing PaperCraft's Holiday Cards. Volume 4 contains over 292 holiday projects for every skill level. There is over 100 Christmas Card ideas and an entire section on how to wrap gifts in style.

The magazine is $14.99 and you will use it for years to come. I have all four volumes and use them every holiday season. This is a must have resource and I purchased mine at Hastings in Great Falls, Montana.

I am totally addicted to the Wild Card Cartridge from Cricut. This card was so simple to make and will also be part of our class on October 27th. Back in The Saddle Again

Hi, I have been gone for awhile but now I am back! I am reintroducing myself to my Cricut and just bought Design Studio. I love it. Design Studio allows you to do so many things with the Cricut. Below is a gift card holder made from the wild card cartridge using Design Studio. This project will be part of an upcoming class to be held at Ben Franklins.
